A house on a hill above the Cretan sea, Lofos is built around a table rather than a lobby. Thirteen suites only, each opening onto a private terrace and pool where the horizon becomes part of the room – natural stone, warm wood, large openings, mornings that begin slowly. In the evenings everything gathers on the Social Terrace: Mediterranean cooking, good wine, live music and the particular light Crete saves for the end of the day, with guests and locals drifting between the tables and the bar.
